Bij het volgende evenement van NextGen, waar DBRT Young Professionals aan verbonden is, verkennen we de vooroordelen in ons onderbewuste. Deze vooroordelen kleuren de manier waarop we mensen en situaties zien en beïnvloeden daardoor ook ons wereldbeeld.
De avond bestaat uit vier onderdelen:
- Paralympisch atlete Edith Wolf-Hunkeler geeft ons haar perspectief op de vooroordelen waar zij mee te maken krijgt.
- Daarna volgt een interactieve workshop met Andy Habermacher, oprichter van neurowetenschappelijk expertcentrum Leading Brains, waarin hij ons uitdaagt meer over onze eigen vooroordelen te ontdekken.
- Het succesvolle Open Mic Night volgt, waar iedereen op het podium zijn of haar vraag kan stellen aan het publiek.
- Tot slot eindigen we de avond met een borrel, waar volop gelegenheid is voor netwerken en gezelligheid!
Registratie vindt plaats op www.amcham.ch/events en opent 14 maart 2017 om 9:00. Dit evenement is specifiek gericht op Young Professionals van tussen de 18 en 35 jaar. Wees er snel bij, er is maar een beperkt aantal kaarten beschikbaar.
NextGen, which is linked to DBRT Young Professionals, will be exploring the biases that we hold within ourselves, unknown to us during their next event. These biases color the way we view others and situations, negatively affecting our lives.
This special evening will be divided into four parts:
- We will hear from Paralympic athlete Edith Wolf-Hunkeler, who will give us her perspective on other people’s prejudices about her and others like her.
- Next, Andy Habermacher, the founder of leading brains, which focuses on leadership and neuroscience, will guide you through a fun and interactive workshop to discover more about the biases within yourself.
- Then, we will continue with our successful Open Mic night (anyone can come on stage, pose a question and receive answers from the audience)
- Finally, ending the evening with a cocktail hour, where general networking and merriment ensue!
Registration takes place at www.amcham.ch/events and opens on the 14th of March 2017 at 9:00 am. This event is aimed at Young Professionals aged from 18 to 35. There are a very limited number of seats available, so be quick!
