Title: „Lean & Green: First Mover COOP Switzerland”

What is the “Lean & Green Initiative”

The Lean & Green initiative was launched in Holland in 2008 on behalf of the government and has now established itself in 12 European countries and more than 500 participating companies. The Dutch Government is actively supporting the further expansion of this initiative in Europe.

One of the strengths of the initiative, in addition to the uniform approach to CO2 measurement and reduction, is also the ongoing development by the participants. Today, up to 5 Lean & Green stars can be reached, and a European label for international companies is also available.

In 2018 COOP and Lidl were the first receivers of this ecological Award in Switzerland from the GS1 Organisation. Beat Hirschi of COOP and Jonas Batt of GS1 Switzerland will explain why.

Please confirm your attendance only by email latest by Monday June 10th to Pieter van den Bold.

Registration Fee for the event is CHF 60 to be paid in cash at the entrance. Please be aware that a no-show fee will have to be charged. Feel free to share this invitation within your business network with any interested party. They are most welcome to join!

We look forward to welcome you all on the 13th of June for this exciting and informative event.
